About the Role
The Assistant Program Manager works closely with the Program Manager in planning and executing events. The most notable event is the Unscripted Twillingate Digital Arts Festival, which will take place Sept. 15 – 18, 2022. Unscripted is Twillingate’s digital arts festival, which was established in 2015. This festival works to extend Twillingate’s tourism season and provide visitors in the fall, as well as our local community, with a rich cultural experience.
Requirements
The Festival Assistant works with the Program Manager in planning and executing events. The most important event is the Unscripted Twillingate Digital Arts Festival (15 - 18 September 2022).

The Tasks
The Festival Assistant will work with the Program Manager on all aspects of the events that are being planned. These include:
Answering phone calls, emails and customer questions in the office
Help with marketing: finding images as needed, basic editing of images, basic writing, taking photos
General office duties
Create documents, schedules and lists
Distribute marketing materials, such as posters and flyers
Help with getting venues ready for events
Run errands, such as banking or shopping
Other related duties as required
