Join our Team: Event Coordinator (Seasonal)

Grow Twillingate Inc. is looking for an Event Coordinator to join us for an 8-week seasonal position! You’ll play a key role in planning and executing local initiatives, including the Unscripted Twillingate Digital Arts Festival, the Twillingate Historic Walking Tour, and more.​

What You’ll Do:

• Support Event Planning: Work closely with the Manager to bring events to life.

• Marketing & Creative: Help with social media, take photos, and assist with basic image editing and design.

• Community Outreach: Distribute posters/flyers and handle inquiries via phone and email.

• On-the-Ground Support: Assist with venue setup and event operations.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Familiarity with Google Workspace.

• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

• A team player who is organized and can also work independently.

• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as events require.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Canva or WordPress (training provided if not!).
